"I spent like 10 years of my life pretending to fly around on a broomstick and you’re asking me if preparing for a love scene was ‘tricky’ because the other person also had a penis?"

"When I say, I love you, it’s not because I want you or because I can’t have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I’ve seen your kindness and your strength. I’ve seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You’re a hell of a woman. You’re the one, Buffy.

Anon requested: Lestrade’s different names

Fun fact: Arthur Conan Doyle never gave Lestrade’s first name. It was always Inspector G. Lestrade which is why Sherlock in BBC Sherlock can’t seem to recall Papa Lestrade’s first name. Way to go, BBC!

I love them with life!

In Greek mythology, Cassandra was the daughter of Priam and Hecuba, the king and queen of Troy. Cassandra was the most beautiful of Priam’s daughters, and the god Apollo fell in love with her. Apollo promised Cassandra the gift of prophecy if she would agree to give herself to him. Cassandra accepted Apollo’s gift but then refiised his advances. Apollo was furious, but he could not take back the powers he had given her. Instead he cursed her, proclaiming that although she would be able to tell the future accurately, no one would believe her. geoffrox:

I really liked working with Terry O’Quinn [who plays Locke]. He and I had a pretty good rapport, and I just enjoyed his company. The physical comedy stuff was always fun. There’s a scene [during Season 1] where Charlie’s trying not to read Claire’s diary, but he keeps wanting to. I really liked killing Ethan; that was very kind of hero stuff. And the big cast scenes where we all stood around in a council were always fun because the bigger the scenes, the more potential there was for me to be having a big Scrabble game. | Dominic Monaghan on his LOST highlights in 2007 (x)
